The Designated Winner is the game that Makes Baseball Fun Again.  Baseball is a long and constant season, which makes managing a fantasy team too laborious.  A survivor pool is great, until your eliminated week 2…  The Designated Winner takes elements from fantasy sports and survivor pools for a game that is full of strategy, scoring and entire season worth of fun!  Pick a new team for each week of the season and compile points when that team wins a game.  For the complete rules

Do your research, check the pitching matchups, and choose your team.  Baseball’s varied and changing schedules allow for a plethora of different strategies for choosing your team each week.

The Designated Winner is guaranteed to increase your interest in Major League Baseball.  In fact you will get a good laugh when you realize it’s the first time you actually checked a Mariners score since Griffey played.

At the end of the season the top 10% of players with the highest score totals will receive cash prizes.  The Designated Winner does not take any commissions or funds to cover its administrative costs.  All of the donations collected are paid back out as prizes.  This is year 2 of The Designated Winner and we are growing, we intend to improve the website design and functionality throughout the season.
